Salzmann Library, located on the campus of Saint Francis de Sales Seminary, serves the general public, especially college and graduate students, teachers, and all who work or volunteer at the parishes, schools and ministries in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. It contains more than 80,000 volumes, primarily in ministry and theology with a strong canon law collection.
Salzmann Library belongs to SWITCH, a consortium of seven academic libraries in the Milwaukee area that share an online catalog called TOPCAT. Salzmann Library patrons can borrow from or use any SWITCH library.
The Catholic Research Resources Alliance is also an excellent source which provides free access to search a variety of Catholic archival materials. It includes a collection of searchable Catholic newspapers, along with other Catholic academic resources.
